Sub Pro
The WiiM Sub Pro is a wireless subwoofer that adds bass to a WiiM Sound or WiiM Amp system, or connects to other gear through its RCA input. In Home Assistant it shows up through the wiim integration as part of the system it belongs to, not as a source you send audio to.
The Sub Pro is a system subwoofer rather than an independent streaming endpoint, so treat it as a satellite of a WiiM Sound, Amp, or Amp Ultra, not a media_player you send content to. It connects over wireless, wired Ethernet, or an RCA input, under local control through the wiim integration. As with every WiiM unit, add it under wiim and turn off linkplay, cast, and dlna_dmr so it is not counted more than once. Setup uses the WiiM Home app and a WiiM account, neither of which Home Assistant needs afterward. The wiim integration arrived in Home Assistant 2026.4 at Bronze quality and is still maturing.
