A two-part purchase: Yale still sells the locks new as Standalone (-NR) SKUs, and the AYR202-ZB-HA Zigbee module comes new from pro distribution (SnapOne, ADI). Yale itself now only stocks the Z-Wave module. The module is a Zigbee HA 1.2 part but joins Zigbee 3.0 ZHA and Zigbee2MQTT coordinators fine, with mature support: lock and unlock, battery, pin_code management for 25 codes, and keypad events. It does not fit the Assure Lock 2, and SnapOne lists the module as a legacy part. The supply horizon is finite, so for new Zigbee-first installs the Kwikset SmartCode Zigbee line is the safer bet. Avoid the Wi-Fi and CBA Assure SKUs, which are Yale Access cloud locks.
