An 8-output KNX actuator for the distribution board that can switch lights, run up to four shutters, or control fan coils. Home Assistant controls its outputs as switches, lights or covers through the KNX integration.
Eight 16 A outputs in a DIN rail module 4.5 units wide. They can be set up as individual switches (up to eight), as shutter or blind channels (up to four), or as two-pipe fan coil controllers (up to two), and mixed in one device.
Each output has a button and status LED on the front for manual switching at the board. Adjacent outputs can be on different phases. Larger 16 and 24 output versions are available.
It is programmed in ETS first. In Home Assistant, each output is then added as a switch, a light or a cover in the KNX panel, using the group addresses from the ETS project.
Recipes using this device
Leak Auto Shutoff
Installs a Home Assistant automation that closes your water shutoff valve the instant a leak sensor goes wet, so a burst hose or a failed valve stops flooding within seconds. Add a smart plug to cut the appliance, a siren, and a speaker.
Shades by Sun and Heat
Installs a Home Assistant automation that closes your shades when the sun climbs high and the day is hot, and opens them again as the sun drops, using Home Assistant's own sun position. Add a light and temperature sensor to hold it to genuinely bright, hot afternoons.
