Use this guide when you need the basic steps for installing an app in Home Assistant.

Install an App

Open your Home Assistant instance either through your local URL or through the Selora Homes Remote Access URL .
Go to Settings > Apps.
Select + Install App.
Search for the app you want to install.
Open the app page and review the documentation shown in the app store.
Select Install.
Wait for the installation to complete.
Enable any startup options that are appropriate for the app, such as Start on boot, Watchdog, or Auto-update.
Start the app.
Confirm the app opens and starts correctly in Home Assistant.
