Install NetAlertX

Use this guide to install NetAlertX so it can help identify device IP addresses, vendors, and network details during integration work.

Add the Repository

1. In Home Assistant, go to Settings > Apps > App Store.
2. Open the three-dot menu and select Repositories.
3. Add the repository https://github.com/alexbelgium/hassio-addons if it is not already present.

Install the Add-on

1. Return to the app store and search for NetAlertX.
2. Select Install.
3. After installation completes, enable Show in sidebar, Start on boot, Watchdog, and Auto-update.
4. Select Start.
5. Open the Info tab and select Open Web UI.

Before moving on

• Confirm NetAlertX loads without errors.
• Confirm the device list begins to populate.
• Confirm you can use the app to identify device IP addresses, MAC addresses, and vendors.
