Meross Integration Setup

The Meross Cloud IoT custom integration connects Meross plugs, switches, bulbs, garage door openers, and valves to Home Assistant through the Meross cloud. It is installed through HACS and signs in with your Meross account email and password.

Before You Start

Confirm the following before you begin:

1. HACS is installed. If it is not, follow the HACS download guide first.
2. Your Meross devices are set up and working in the Meross app.
3. You have the Meross account email and password available.
4. Home Assistant has a working internet connection. This is a cloud integration.

Step 1: Install the Integration Through HACS

1. In Home Assistant, go to HACS and search for Meross.
2. Install the Meross Cloud IoT integration.
3. Restart your Home Assistant instance.

Step 2: Add the Integration

1. Go to Settings > Devices & Services > Add Integration and select Meross Cloud IoT.
2. Enter the Meross account email and password.
3. Select the HTTP API endpoint for your region (Asia-Pacific, Europe, or United States).
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Step 3: Verify the Devices

Once connected, your Meross devices appear in Home Assistant, including bulbs, switches, garage door openers, and smart valves or thermostats, with power sensor readings on devices that support them.
