Molekule Integration Setup

Molekule air purifiers connect to Home Assistant through a community-built Molekule integration installed through HACS. The integration talks to Molekule’s cloud API and signs in with your Molekule account email and password.

Before You Start

Confirm the following before you begin:

1. HACS is installed. If it is not, follow the HACS download guide first.
2. The purifier is set up and working in the Molekule app.
3. You have the Molekule account email and password available.
4. Home Assistant has a working internet connection. The integration is cloud-dependent.

Step 1: Install the Integration Through HACS

1. In Home Assistant, open HACS and search for the Molekule integration .
2. If it does not appear in the search results, add the repository through the HACS Custom Repositories menu first.
3. Install the integration.
4. Restart your Home Assistant instance.

Step 2: Add the Integration

1. Go to Settings > Devices & Services > Add Integration and select Molekule.
2. Sign in with the Molekule account email and password.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Step 3: Verify the Entities

Once connected, each purifier provides:

• a fan entity with Automatic and Manual modes and fan speed control, and
• sensors for air quality, VOC, humidity, PM2.5, PM10, CO2, and remaining filter life.

In the integration options you can adjust the polling frequency and enable the quiet (silent) setting for automatic mode.
