Sensibo Integration Setup

Sensibo controllers connect to Home Assistant through the built-in Sensibo integration using an API key from your Sensibo account. Create the key with a dedicated account so that actions from Home Assistant and actions from the Sensibo app can be told apart in the activity log.

Before You Start

Confirm the following before you begin:

1. Your Sensibo devices are set up and working in the Sensibo app.
2. You can create a new Sensibo username and password for the dedicated API account, or you have decided to use the main account.

Step 1: Create the API Key

1. Sign in at the Sensibo API key page . Use the dedicated account if you created one.
2. Create a new API key for Home Assistant.
3. Copy and save the key.

Step 2: Add the Sensibo Integration

1. In Home Assistant, go to Settings > Devices & Services.
2. If Sensibo was discovered automatically, select it under Discovered. Otherwise, select Add Integration and search for Sensibo.
3. Enter the API key you created in Step 1.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Step 3: Verify the Devices

Once connected, each Sensibo controller appears as a climate entity with temperature, humidity, and mode controls matching what the Sensibo app offers.
