  1. Confirm the device category in the installation plan.
  2. Review the matching category below.
  3. Follow the manufacturer installation instructions and local code requirements.
  4. Confirm the device is safe, functional, and ready for the customer.
  5. Escalate to a Selora Homes Customer Support Engineer if the installation is blocked or the device cannot be safely completed.

Thermostats

  • Confirm the thermostat is compatible with the available HVAC wiring using the manufacturer’s installation guide.
  • Confirm the HVAC system powers on correctly and that all required functions work.
  • Priority device. This device must be installed and working before customer walkthrough.

Smart Locks

  • Confirm the lock fits the door correctly and that mechanical alignment is smooth before final tightening.
  • Confirm the latch, strike, lock, and unlock functions work correctly after installation.
  • Priority device. This device must be installed and working before customer walkthrough.

Cameras

  • Mount the camera securely with the correct viewing angle and stable power or network connection.
  • Confirm the camera location matches the installation plan and covers the intended area.

Lights
