Selora AI Chat Panel

After setup, a Selora AI panel appears in the HA sidebar. Open it to chat with the AI about your home in plain English. You do not need to know any commands or syntax — just describe what you want.

Things to try on your first session

  • “What automations would you suggest for my home?”
  • “Create an automation that turns off all lights when everyone leaves the house.”
  • “Why did the living room lights turn on at 2am last night?”
  • “Make the thermostat drop to 65°F on weeknights after 11pm.”
  • “Explain what my existing motion sensor automations are doing.”
  • “Are there any devices that look like they have connectivity issues?”

The AI has full visibility into your devices, areas, current states, and existing automations, so it can give answers and suggestions that are specific to your actual home rather than generic examples.

Home Assistant Assist

Set Selora AI as the default Conversation Agent under Settings → Voice assistants → [your assistant] → Conversation agent. Once set, all Assist commands (voice or text) are handled by Selora AI. This means you can ask the same questions above through any Assist-connected interface — including voice, the HA mobile app, and smart displays.
