Create a Selora Homes Admin User in Home Assistant

This guide walks a homeowner through creating the dedicated user in Home Assistant for Selora Homes customer support.

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

• Access to your Home Assistant owner account.
• A secure 1Password share link sent by Selora Homes support.

Create the User

1. Open your Home Assistant instance and log in with your owner account.
2. Go to Settings > People > Users.
3. Select Add User.
4. Open the secure 1Password share link sent by Selora Homes support.
5. Copy the username and the password from that share link.
6. Enter those credentials into the new Home Assistant user form.
7. Make sure the new user is created as an administrator.
8. Save the user.
9. Tell Selora Homes support that the user has been created.
