Offer Letter Stage

Once a candidate reaches the Offer Letter stage in Greenhouse , the following steps occur:

Equity Rationale (US Employees)

  1. Create an equity rationale document
  2. Have Execs review the document
  3. Share the document with OCV (Open Core Ventures) for review and approval

Communicating the Offer

  1. Communicate the offer to the candidate with the conditions
  2. Ask the candidate for:
    • Legal name
    • Address
    • Earliest start date (must be at least one week after the offer is signed, to allow enough time for Deel to set up everything)
  3. Create the offer letter with OCV (Jamie) and send it to the candidate using DocuSign
  4. Offer letters are valid for 72 hours

Post-Signature

Once the offer letter is signed by the candidate:

  • Ask the candidate their preference on the laptop color
  • Use the accounting Credit Card for the purchase

Onboarding

  1. Communicate next steps to the employee
  2. Create a Google account for the employee
  3. The employee must create a GitLab handle for Selora Homes
  4. Create an onboarding issue in gitlab.com/selorahomes/peopleops/onboarding using the default template and invite the new employee
