Dreame has no core Home Assistant integration, so this is the native path most owners use.
It connects one of two ways, and both need the robot on the same subnet. Cloud mode uses your Dreame or Xiaomi account and is the most broadly compatible. Local mode talks to the robot directly with its device token, which cuts cloud dependency, though setup still uses your account and some newer models rely on the cloud for map data. For a build with no cloud at all, root a supported robot and run Valetudo instead.

Map rooms and automate
