
Ecovacs & Home Assistant
The Ecovacs integration connects Deebot robot vacuums to Home Assistant through Ecovacs’ cloud. It exposes a vacuum entity (start, pause, stop, return-to-base, fan speed) plus battery and station sensors, and per-room cleaning where the app’s maps exist.
Because every command and the live map are relayed through Ecovacs’ servers, control depends entirely on internet connectivity and Ecovacs’ cloud availability. There is no local-control path for Deebot hardware, so for offline-resilient or privacy-critical installs a Valetudo-rootable robot is the better choice.

Sign in with an Ecovacs account
Setup uses your Ecovacs app credentials and is region-sensitive. The integration discovers the Deebots on the account and connects through Ecovacs' cloud.
Control through the cloud
Start and stop, return-to-base, and fan speed, plus battery and station sensors, are relayed through Ecovacs' servers. There is no local fallback.
Map rooms and automate
Where the app has mapped the home, segments can drive per-room cleaning and automations, but everything stops if the Ecovacs cloud or the internet is unavailable.
