Home Assistant device, which may represent a physical device like a light switch,
thermostat, or sensor. We count devices as reported by Home
Assistant, which can vary—some physical devices register as multiple
devices depending on their capabilities.
Integrations
connect and integrate Home Assistant with your devices, services,
and more. For example, Philips Hue, Tesla Wall Connector, or Zigbee
are each one integration, even if they control multiple devices.
A Selora AI Credit is a unit of currency used to pay for AI model
usage, such as prompting, analyzing, or troubleshooting your smart
home with Home Assistant.
No. When you use
Selora AI Local, the model runs on your own hardware, so no credits are consumed.
Selora AI Credits are only used with Selora AI Cloud, where the
model runs in the cloud on our infrastructure. Likewise, if you
bring your own API key from another provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, and
others), you're billed directly by that provider and no Selora AI
Credits are needed.
No. Every Selora Hub ships with the Free plan included, Selora AI
Local preconfigured, and a starter allotment of Selora AI Credits.
It works out of the box with no recurring fee. A Premium Support
& Features subscription is entirely optional, for when you want
professional support, more capacity, and advanced features.
The standard Selora Hub (16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD) covers everything
most homes need. For large properties or heavy AI workloads, we
build larger Hubs with more RAM and storage to order, just
contact us
and we'll spec the right one. Zigbee, Thread, and Matter radios can
be added to any Hub on demand.
Our limits are soft caps to help you choose the right tier. If you
exceed them, we'll contact you to discuss upgrading to a plan that
better fits your needs, with a 30-day notice period.
Yes! We offer custom enterprise solutions for larger deployments,
multi-property management, and specialized requirements.

Assistant. While this can technically be done, we highly recommend
